Antique cars and items from a bygone era filled the historic main street of Ascension Parish's westbank city.

For about a month, crews have been decorating buildings and hand-painting signs, including one that depicts a hotel in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

The set apparently will be of the Mississippi River Delta city located south of Memphis that has been known for its many blues music legends.

The day before filming was set to start, workers could be seen converting the asphalt street to a dirt road.

The roads surrounding the block were closed and no parking in the area was allowed from April 21-27.

Details surrounding the movie have been limited and few media reports have been published so far.

What is known is that Jordan will be collaborating once again with director Ryan Coogler, who previously worked with the star for "Creed" and "Black Panther."

According to Caballero Casting, which had been seeking extras, filming has been planned for locations throughout southeast Louisiana, including New Orleans, Belle Chasse, St. Bernard, Braithwaite, Tickfaw, Hammond, Napoleonville and Thibodaux.

The background casting director has said to the USA Today Network that the movie, which has a working title "Grilled Cheese," will involve vampires.
